Another great basketball movie, “The Way Back”?
Ben Affleck starrer, “The Way Back” is a recently released movie. The movie revolves around the main character, Jack Cunningham which is played by Ben Affleck. Ben Affleck is pretty bulked up in this movie which fits hits role perfectly in the movie as an alcoholic construction worker.
The movie is all about Jack’s life. It’s not exactly a motivational movie like Coach Carter. It does have certain elements and scenes which are inspiring and motivational centering the high school basketball team that Jack coaches. But the other half of the movie revolves around Jack struggling in his personal life mourning the loss of his son.
The movie is not at all predictable and goes through many ups and downs in the script. One wouldn’t be able to predict what’s going to happen next. The ending of the movie is also a bit atypical.
In short, the movie is about the emotions of a man and the chance of getting his life back by coaching a high school basketball team how to play as a team. And the movie is not so predictable.
