Movie Review: Good on Paper
American Romantic comedy Film inspired by the real life of the lead actress from the movie itself!
How is it?
This has to be one of the best movies because of the fact that its a real life story (at-least partially!) and because the protagonist in the real life is the actual person who does the lead role in the movie, none other than American Comedian, Iliza Shlesinger.
As a viewer, I really felt the script. Maybe because it really happened with her or maybe because Iliza is a good actress. But the character personification was great!
Why see it?
The Selling Point about the movie is that it’s sort of a rare thing to happen with someone. It’s not the usual romantic story where hero and heroine are together in the end. So, that makes the script look like fictional but at the same time, you, as a viewer knows that it’s based on a real life story, so, the viewer really tries to grasp the difficult and weirdly evolving situation at hand.
Any cons?
One thing I found was that it’s not apt to call it a romantic comedy because it’s not romantic in its usual sense. The relationship tries to build up but sort of never blossoms due to all the unanswered question. So, this is not a movie you would want to see if you want to see just a romantic movie.
